About Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

CBT-I is considered the gold standard for treating chronic insomnia. This evidence-based approach addresses the underlying causes of sleep problems rather than just treating symptoms. Our specialists work with you to identify and change thoughts and behaviors that cause or worsen sleep problems, replacing them with habits that promote sound sleep and improved well-being.

Treatment typically includes sleep restriction, stimulus control, cognitive restructuring, sleep hygiene education, and relaxation techniques. Most patients experience significant improvement within 6-8 sessions, with benefits that last long after treatment ends, unlike medication-based approaches.

Our office is located at 111 N Wabash Ave, Chicago IL 60602. Because some of our providers are telehealth-only, we don't accept walk-ins.
